Inter Milan Pursues Porto’s striker

Inter Milan is actively working on securing the signing of Porto's forward, Mehdi Taremi, as a free agent. According to Football-Italia, representatives from Inter recently met with Taremi's agent to discuss potential terms for a personal agreement.

While a January transfer seems challenging due to financial constraints and limitations on available slots for non-European Union players, Taremi's contract with Porto is set to expire in the summer, and he has no plans to extend it.

The Iranian forward, turning 32 in July, has showcased his skills with six goals and four assists in 24 matches for Porto this season. Despite these negotiations, Inter Milan holds the top spot in Serie A and recently made history by signing Tajon Buchanan from Club Brugge, the first Canadian player in Serie A.
