Thaddeus! Thaddeus!!" Tonya screamed my name from the living room where all members of my family were watching the news, and it was a Saturday morning.

I ran to the living room from my room to see what was going on. Shawn, Aubrey, and Jermaine were all in the news. The robbery went wrong! Shawn was shot dead, Aubrey and Jermaine were arrested for illegal possession of firearms, armed robbery, and attempted murder of a police officer, and George is on the run.

"Detective Carter, Detective Carter!" - a chubby young officer in his twenties said to snap him back from his thoughts. "Chief wants your attention in his office right away." he added, "Thanks, Thomas." Thaddeus replied as he made his way into the Chief of Police office, Superintendent Cole an average tall and Caucasian American in his late fifties with over two decades of faithful service to the South Florida Police department, "Please sit Carter, I put you on this case because of the nature of this case and how delicate it is, You are my best hand in this division lets solve this case timely." he said staring at Thaddeus looking like he is trying to read his mind. "I have made progress, and the main suspect will be interrogated as soon as possible. Thanks for your faith in me, chief!" Thaddeus said in confirmation of the confidence placed on him, Chief smiled and told him to do whatever must be done to bring Justice and that he is solidly behind Thaddeus as he asks him to get back to work.

Detective Carter heads to the foreseeing Lab immediately he left Chief Cole Officer where some evidence from the crime scene were sent for examination, Dr. Jorge Mendes was the head of forensic investigations and research and a close friend Detective Carter aside sparring in the ring after work their friendship goes way back to when they were in High School, Thaddeus had a flashback of the very first they met back in High school, That Morning Thaddeus Woke up earlier than normal at home, why he was excited that morning he can't remember any more, all he remembered was the events that played out between his dad and his mum that morning before school, his mom was already in the kitchen making breakfast. She was surprised to see Thaddeus up so early and already doing his chores. 

“Good morning, ma.” Thaddeus greeted. 

“Young man, why you up so early, and you have already thrown out the trash. I hope all is well, son.” She enquired because this was not normal. 

“Nothing Ma, Its nothing.” He replied. 

Before she could question him further, Tonya walked in obviously still sleep. She walked sluggishly towards the chairs in the kitchen and greeted her mother. She, too, was surprised to see the Thaddeus was up before her, but she did not say anything. She was not sure why he was excited about it, but she decided that she was going to find out.
