Petrol queues have reappeared in Lagos state and its environs, signaling a resurgence of petroleum product scarcity. Residents are seen lining up in long queues at fuel stations where the commodity is available, while stations without products remain shut for several days.
Abubakar Maiganda, the National President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), attributed the recent scarcity to the inability of their members to lift the product for days.
As of now, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has not issued any statement regarding this development.
