Former Twitter Executive Speaks Out About Elon Musk and Joins Meta

Former Twitter executive Crawford, once identified as one of Elon Musk's top lieutenants, made headlines for embracing Musk's hardcore work culture but was eventually let go in February 2023. In July of that year, Crawford revealed her thoughts on Musk and his leadership, describing him as "oddly charming" and "genuinely funny," but noted his mood could quickly shift from excitement to anger, making people afraid to share negative news with him.

Despite her departure from Twitter, Crawford's career took a new turn as she joined Meta, Facebook's parent company. Her move to Meta could be seen as an indicator of big moves Mark Zuckerberg may be making to compete with Musk's projects. Zuckerberg launched Threads, a text-based app, in July, aiming to create a platform for public conversations with over a billion users, challenging Musk's X.

Despite joining Meta, Crawford stated that she would continue using X, indicating her ongoing interest in Musk's projects.
