Why is Dehydration bad for you?

Dehydration is simply a state of decreased water(fluid) body content which can lead to an impaired body function.

The ultimate consequence of dehydration is that there will be a decreased cardiac output( volume of blood pumped out of each ventricle per minute) which in turn decrease total blood in circulation and then circulatory shock(decreased tissue perfusion  which result in necrosis  i.e tissue death)

This decreased blood volume means enough blood isn't getting to the brain as at that moment, which dizziness and weakness may be manifesting.

Fainting(syncope) can be as a result of dehydration.

Dehydration ranges from mild to severe depending on the cause. It is not new that being dehydrated can affect ones effectiveness.

So drink moderate amount of water from time to time, and even after heavy sweating during exercises.

Stay well and healthy!!!
