Keke Palmer Makes History With Emmy's Win

Keke Palmer has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first woman in 15 years to win the Emmy for Best Game Show Host.

Palmer secured the Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Game Show for her role in NBC's Password. This marks a significant moment as it is the first time this category has been included in the primetime Emmys after transitioning from the daytime awards.

In her victory, Palmer outshone notable hosts such as Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik from Jeopardy!, Steve Harvey from Family Feud, and Pat Sajak from Wheel of Fortune.

The last woman to win this award was Meredith Vieira in 2009 for the syndicated run of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Steve Harvey claimed the honor last year, and the three years prior to that saw Alex Trebek as the winner.

Expressing her excitement, Palmer shared her gratitude on Instagram, acknowledging those who contributed to her success, including Jimmy Fallon and NBC.
