Scotland U21's Dapo Mebude Undergoes Successful Surgery After Car Crash in Belgium

Scotland Under-21 forward Dapo Mebude has undergone "successful surgery" after a car crash in Belgium, according to an update from his club, KV Oostende.

The 22-year-old, who has 28 caps for Scotland at youth level, collided with a tree, and emergency services had to free him from the wreckage. Mebude, originally from London, joined KV Oostende in September 2022 after coming through the ranks at Rangers and later moving to Watford.

The club expressed their thoughts for Mebude and his family, wishing them strength and a speedy recovery.
