Former Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has revealed that he receives a monthly pension of N577,000 as a former governor of Lagos State.
Fashola shared this information during an appearance on the Arise TV program "Perspectives." He emphasized that despite widespread claims of receiving billions of naira from the federal government after his eight years as a minister, he only receives the stated pension from Lagos State.
Fashola clarified that he does not receive any additional benefits from the federal government and urged current public office holders to remain true and authentic in their duties.
