Nigerian artist Burna Boy has been confirmed as one of the performers at the upcoming 2024 Grammy Awards. Last week, initial performers announced included Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Dua Lipa. The Recording Academy disclosed on Sunday that Travis Scott, Luke Combs, and Burna Boy will join the lineup for the telecast on Sunday, February 4.
More performers and presenters for the 66th Annual Grammy Awards are expected to be revealed in the coming days. Trevor Noah will host the telecast, set to air on CBS and stream on Paramount Plus.
Burna Boy, nominated for four Grammys this year, is recognized in the categories of Best Global Music Album (I Told Them...), Best African Music Performance (City Boys), Best Global Music Performance (Alone), and Best Melodic Rap Performance (Sittin' On Top of the World).
Having secured a Grammy win at the 63rd Grammys in 2021 for Best Global Music Album with Twice As Tall, Burna Boy continues to be a prominent figure in the global music scene.
