LeBron James Ruled Out for 'Battle for L.A.' Due to Left Ankle Pain

The highly anticipated "battle for L.A." on Tuesday will be without one of its main attractions as Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has been ruled out due to left ankle pain, as announced by the team on Monday.

The Lakers, currently positioned at No. 9 in the Western Conference standings with a 22-22 record, have a 2-0 advantage over their city rivals, the LA Clippers, who are sitting at No. 4 in the West with a 27-14 record.

LeBron James, aged 39, is delivering a remarkable performance in his 21st NBA season, averaging 24.8 points, 7.4 assists, and 7.2 rebounds. Notably, he is shooting at an impressive 52% from the field and 39.1% from beyond the arc. This marks James' fifth missed game of the season, with the Lakers having a 2-2 record in games played without him so far.
