Ajoke, the daughter of the late Nigerian Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as TB Joshua, has revealed in a BBC documentary that she endured constant abuse and torture from her father.
In the documentary, TB Joshua's disciples allege that Ajoke, born outside lawful marriage, faced humiliation and mistreatment by the late pastor, who considered her existence a threat to his reputation. Ajoke claims she never felt fatherly affection and that her father compelled her to be a disciple to ruin her life.
Multiple former members spoke to the BBC, detailing decades of abuse within the church, likening their experiences to being in a cult.
