NSCDC Arrests Four Suspects in Connection with Illegal Petroleum Refinery

 


Officials of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Niger State Command, have arrested four suspects linked to an illegal petroleum refinery and the sale of adulterated petroleum in Sabon-Wuse, Tafa LGA of Niger state. 


The Anti-Vandal Squad of the command discovered the oil refinery where adulterated petroleum products were mixed and sold to vehicle owners. The suspects, Abdullahi Musa, Hussein Sulaiman, Murtala Mohammed, and Mohammed Sanusi, were unable to produce any operating license during interrogation. 


The NSCDC commandant in Niger State has declared a comprehensive campaign against vandalism of critical national assets and infrastructure in the state. The adulterated petroleum poses a risk to vehicle engines, affecting unsuspecting motorists.
