Outgoing Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly rejected the possibility of taking over at Bayern Munich following Thomas Tuchel's decision to leave the club at the end of the season. Klopp had previously announced his intention to leave Liverpool this summer in order to take a break from coaching and spend more time with his family.
Despite being a favorite to land the Bayern Munich job after Tuchel's departure was announced, Klopp has maintained his decision to take a year-long break from coaching. His agent, Kosicke, confirmed to Sky Sports Germany that Klopp will not be coaching any club or national team for a year after the current season.
Klopp has also stated that he has no desire to manage in the Premier League again, citing his admiration for Liverpool. He has also not entertained discussions about managing an international team.
Klopp's time at Liverpool has been highly successful, winning multiple trophies including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup. Liverpool is currently in contention to win a quadruple this season and will face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
