Lana Del Rey Mesmerizes as Coachella Headliner


Lana Del Rey captivated the Coachella Stage on Friday night as she headlined the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Her entrance set the tone for the evening, as she arrived at the stage standing on the back of a motorcycle with "Jealous Girl" playing in the background.


Dressed in a sparkly blue dress, Del Rey exuded radiance as she opened the show with “Without You.” Her performance, filled with dreamy, sultry, and melancholic songs, showcased her unique style and talent.


This marked Del Rey's first year headlining Coachella, exactly a decade since her last appearance in 2014. Throughout the night, she treated the audience to a setlist spanning her nine albums, including hits like “Summertime Sadness,” “Cherry,” “Pretty When You Cry,” and “Born to Die.”


Del Rey's stage presence was mesmerizing, with visuals alternating between black and white and color, showcasing scenes from her career. Her stage setup featured three tall white columns, winding staircases, and balconies from which she serenaded the crowd.


Special guests added to the excitement of the evening. Jon Batiste joined Del Rey on stage for their collaboration “Candy Necklace,” and Billie Eilish performed a duet of "Video Games." Jack Antonoff also made an appearance for "Hope is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman like Me to Have."


The night ended with a spectacular firework display during her performance of "Young and Beautiful" from "The Great Gatsby." Del Rey's performance was a reminder of her unique artistry and her ability to captivate audiences with her ethereal music.
