Despite the police confirming the conclusion of the autopsy on September 21, 2023, the official release of the results is still pending.

The delayed release of the autopsy results has raised concerns, with singer Bella Shmurda appealing to the police for the swift release of Mohbad's body for a dignified funeral arrangement. The police, in response, emphasized the need for an official release and stated that only the singer's family lawyer could request the pathologists to release the results independently or to the police when ready.
