Royal Antwerp midfielder Alhassan Yusuf has been called up as a replacement for Leicester City midfielder, who has been ruled out of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations due to injury.
Ndidi missed Leicester City's 4-1 home win over Huddersfield Town on Monday, January 1, due to the injury.
Yusuf, who was initially on the provisional 41-man list, will now take his place in the team. Despite being uncapped by the Super Eagles, the talented 23-year-old midfielder is expected to join the team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, today, January 3.
