Nollywood Mourns Veteran Actor Zulu Adigwe's Death

The Nigerian movie industry has been plunged into mourning following the news of the passing of veteran Nollywood actor, Zulu Adigwe. The actor's death was announced on Tuesday by movie producer Stanley Nwoko on his Instagram page.

Mourning the actor, Nwoko wrote, "Rest in peace, good actor."

Adigwe's passing comes just two weeks after the tragic death of Junior Pope and three other Nollywood actors in a boat accident on the Anam River. The actors were reportedly en route to a filming location when the accident occurred.

Zulu Adigwe was known for his portrayal of fatherly characters in Nollywood films and gained recognition for his role as Mr. B in the popular sitcom "Basi and Company." He also appeared in the successful 2019 movie "Living in Bondage: Breaking Free."

Born in Enugu State, Adigwe spent his early years there before moving to Austria, where he completed his primary and secondary education. His death marks another loss for the Nigerian film industry, as colleagues and fans remember his contributions to Nollywood.
