Megan Thee Stallion Denies Allegations in Lawsuit by Former Cameraman

American rapper Megan Thee Stallion has refuted claims made against her by her former cameraman in a new lawsuit.

In the suit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Emilio Garcia alleges that he was present in a moving vehicle with the rapper while she engaged in sexual activity with another woman. He accuses Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, of harassment and creating a hostile work environment.

Responding to the allegations, Megan Thee Stallion's lawyer, Alex Spiro, stated, "This is an employment claim for money – with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court."

Garcia claims in the suit that he was warned not to discuss what he witnessed following the alleged incident. He further alleges that he was treated differently by the Grammy-winning rapper afterward, creating a hostile and abusive work environment.

Garcia began working for Megan as a personal cameraman in 2018 and held a full-time role with her from 2019 until June 2023.

In his lawsuit, Garcia recounts an incident during a trip to Ibiza in June 2022, where he claims to have witnessed the rapper engaging in sexual activity with a woman in a moving SUV. He expressed feeling uncomfortable and shocked by the incident.

Additionally, Garcia alleges that Megan fat-shamed him during the same trip, calling him a "fat b****" and telling him not to eat. He claims to have experienced a decrease in job opportunities afterward, culminating in his services being terminated by Megan's management company, Roc Nation, in June 2023.

The lawsuit alleges that Garcia suffered "profound emotional distress" due to the "barrage of relentless sexual and fat-shaming comments" from Megan. It also states that Megan's failure to provide medical insurance caused Garcia to be unable to receive care as he dealt with mounting anxiety, depression, and physical distress.

In a statement, Garcia's attorney, Ron Zambrano, called for Megan to acknowledge her behavior, pay what is due to their client, and cease such conduct. He described the alleged behavior as sexual harassment and fat-shaming, stating that Garcia should not have been put in a position to witness such behavior.
