CN Addresses Power Transmission Reduction Due to low gas supply

 

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has attributed the reduction in power transmission to electricity distribution companies to constraints faced by thermal generating companies. 

TCN's General Manager of Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, explained that the decrease has affected the amount of bulk power available on the transmission grid. 

Despite these challenges, TCN is actively collaborating with stakeholders in the power sector to maintain grid stability amid the current low power generation.

 Mbah emphasized that TCN is committed to transmitting the available generated power to distribution load centers.
