Taylor Swift Donates $100,000 to Family of Woman Killed in Kansas City Chiefs Parade

American singer Taylor Swift has donated $100,000 to the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a mother of two and radio DJ who tragically lost her life during a parade celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl victory. Lisa was shot during the parade, which also resulted in injuries to 21 other people, including nine children.

Swift, whose boyfriend is Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, made the donation to a fundraiser set up for Lisa's family. The singer contributed two $50,000 installments to the GoFundMe page, expressing her deepest sympathies and condolences to the family in the wake of their devastating loss.

Lisa's GoFundMe page has raised $194,798 so far, surpassing its goal of $75,000. Lisa, 43 years old at the time of her death, is remembered as an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She is survived by her two children and her husband of 22 years.

Initially, it was reported that Lisa died while undergoing surgery for her gunshot wound, but later reports clarified that she died at the scene. Her son, Marc Lopez-Galvan, in his 20s, was also shot and injured during the incident but has since been released from the hospital. Two more relatives of Lisa were wounded, but her daughter, Adriana, was unharmed.

The fundraiser aims to provide vital financial support to Lisa's family as they cope with this tragic loss.
