American rapper Megan Thee Stallion has made headlines by appearing nude on the latest cover of Women's Health, released on Wednesday, April 10. In the accompanying interview, Megan shared her fitness journey, revealing that she achieved her toned body by swapping whole meals for smoothies, cutting out soda and juice, and switching from cognac to tequila.
Megan also opened up about the challenges she faced, particularly after being shot by Tory Lanez in July 2020, an incident for which he was convicted. She spoke about feeling pressure from the outside world and receiving hate mail, with people calling her a liar. Megan attributed some of this backlash to racism and colorism, noting the stereotypes placed on her due to her darker complexion.
Despite these challenges, Megan expressed that she is now in a much better place. She credited lifting weights at the gym as her saving grace and emphasized the importance of focusing on her own well-being and mental health.
