Nigerian Clergyman Femi Lazarus Argues Insulting Behavior on Social Media Stems from Unresolved Pain

Nigerian clergyman Femi Lazarus recently shared his perspective on the behavior of individuals who use social media to hurl insults at others, suggesting that they likely come from troubled backgrounds.

During a recent sermon at his church, Lazarus remarked, "You will never find someone from a good home drag anyone on social media. There is pain. Look at the weight of words. A young boy is calling Adeboye a fool. Look at the weight. Where did you learn it? What happened to your childhood? What happened to your heart? Words are heavy. When it is no longer heavy in your heart, something is wrong with the heart. It's recycling of pain."
