Kodak Black Arrested Again on Cocaine Charges

Kodak Black, also known as Bill Kapri, found himself in legal trouble once more as he was arrested in Plantation, Florida. The 26-year-old rapper faced charges including cocaine possession, tampering with evidence, probation violation, and improperly stopping or parking a vehicle. This arrest followed an encounter with the Florida Highway Patrol, who spotted his black Bentley SUV blocking a roadway.

The police discovered Kodak Black asleep at the wheel, with a strong cannabis odor in the vehicle. While admitting to the presence of weed, the rapper was also found with a Styrofoam cup believed to contain alcohol. As he exited the car, a white powder fell to the ground, leading to allegations of cocaine possession. Despite Kodak claiming it was Percocet, field tests suggested otherwise.

This incident adds to Kodak Black's history of legal troubles, including a 2020 prison sentence for a false statement to buy a firearm, for which he was later pardoned by former President Donald Trump. Additionally, he is currently facing a lawsuit for his alleged involvement in a shooting outside a West Hollywood after-party in 2022.

In a separate incident last year, Kodak Black faced drug charges in Broward County when found in possession of oxycodone. His recent arrest on cocaine charges continues to highlight his ongoing legal challenges.

Kodak Black, who gained a commutation from President Trump, has a history marked by various legal issues, including marijuana possession, child neglect, grand theft of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His consistent run-ins with the law underscore the challenges he faces in maintaining a clean legal record.
