On Thursday, December 7, Bola Tinubu appealed to multinational companies in Nigeria, urging them not to exit the country.
Tinubu assured the visiting Shell Group delegation led by Ms. Zoe Yujnovich, its Global Integrated Gas and Upstream Director, of his administration's commitment to removing obstacles hindering smooth business operations.
Tinubu emphasized the resolve to make Nigeria a premier destination for large-scale investments, assuring the delegation of support and encouragement.
Despite the departure of several multinational companies like P&G and GSK, Tinubu expressed confidence in fostering both existing and new investments, highlighting the country's longstanding relationship with Shell since the discovery of its first commercial oil field in 1956.
