AS Roma Secures Victory Over Hellas Verona Under New Manager De Rossi



AS Roma ended a three-match winless streak in Serie A with a 2-1 home win against Hellas Verona, providing a successful start for newly appointed manager Daniele De Rossi.

 Stephan El Shaarawy played a key role in both goals, assisting Romelu Lukaku in the 19th minute and setting up Lorenzo Pellegrini for the second six minutes later. Verona had a chance to narrow the gap with a penalty, but Milan Djuric missed the spot kick. 

Verona eventually scored in the 76th minute with Michael Folorunsho's long-range shot. The victory places Roma in eighth position with 32 points, while Verona sits in the relegation zone with 17 points. De Rossi praised the team's determination and heart, emphasizing the need to celebrate victories and build enthusiasm.
