(NNPP) Urges INEC to Update Records Amidst Internal Dispute

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to update its records on the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) membership.

The party emphasized that Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso remains expelled and urged the media to recognize only officers duly elected by the party’s constitution. NNPP's Board of Trustees Chairman, Dr. Temitope Aluko, asserted that INEC lacks the power to meddle in the internal affairs of a political party.

Aluko highlighted that the party's constitution is supreme, and the expulsion of Kwankwaso and other members followed due process. The party urged INEC to respect the NNPP's internal administration and adhere to democratic principles.
