Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis has made a return to former club Watford on loan from Nottingham Forest until the end of the 2023-24 season. The official Watford X account confirmed the news, acknowledging the rumors surrounding the forward's move.
Dennis, a 26-year-old Nigeria international, was part of the Watford squad that was relegated from the Premier League at the conclusion of the 2021/22 season. During his initial spell at Vicarage Road, Dennis scored 10 goals in 37 games.
After a loan stint with Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir in the first half of the current season, he has now returned to Watford. Dennis initially joined Watford from Club Brugge in June 2021 and later moved to Nottingham Forest in the following summer.
His time at Forest saw limited game time, scoring twice in 25 appearances since his £20 million move following the club's promotion to the Premier League.
