Sneak Peek into the Rumored Design of iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max

Rumors are circulating about the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, suggesting a design reminiscent of the iPhone 15 Pro models, featuring curved edges and a titanium frame. These new models are expected to boast larger displays, measuring 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, along with a new 5x tetra prism Telephoto camera. The button layout is anticipated to be similar to the iPhone 15 Pro, with the addition of a Capture button on the right side of the phone. Apple plans to use Grade 5 Titanium material for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, and there's speculation about the introduction of a new color option.

While the official launch is still months away, the rumor mill is abuzz with speculation, offering a glimpse of what the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max might look like. Based on prototypes for the upcoming models, MacRumors has created renders, showcasing the potential design elements of the next series of iPhones.

Apple has explored various design details for the new models, but the overall form factor and general design are expected to remain consistent. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are projected to maintain the curved edges and titanium frame similar to the iPhone 15 Pro models.

Sources suggest that the new models will feature larger displays, increasing from 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches to 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches. This size adjustment is likely to accommodate the new 5x tetra prism Telephoto camera, a feature expected to be available on both Pro iPhone models.

Apple initially tested four button configurations but appears to have settled on a layout resembling the iPhone 15 Pro, with Action buttons and volume buttons on the left and power buttons on the right. However, there could be a new addition to the right side of the phone—a Capture button, positioned below the power button. The Capture button is expected to sit flush with the frame, unlike the protruding Action button.

The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will continue to use Grade 5 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) material, maintaining the overall finish seen in the iPhone 15 Pro. While Apple has used existing colors from the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max for testing purposes, there are plans to introduce a new color option. Apple's prototypes showcase a "Silver" color marketed as "White Titanium."
