Tish Cyrus, mother of Miley and Noah Cyrus, has been accused of pursuing and ultimately marrying Dominic Purcell, who was reportedly dating Noah at the time. Tish, 56, and the "Prison Break" actor, 54, tied the knot in August 2023 after Tish's divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus.
While Miley attended the wedding, Noah and brother Brandon were notably absent. An insider claimed to US Weekly that Noah was seeing Purcell when Tish started pursuing him, leading to significant turmoil within the family.
In a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Tish recounted her relationship with Purcell, revealing that he initially messaged her on Instagram in 2016, though she didn't see the message until a year later. In 2017, Purcell's ex reportedly blocked Tish after noticing he had contacted her.
Following her split from Billy Ray in 2022, Tish reached out to Purcell, leading to a date and eventually marriage in 2023. Notably, neither Noah nor Braison attended the wedding, with sources suggesting that Noah was not invited and that Miley had security guards present to prevent any unexpected appearances.
The family rift reportedly extends to Miley, who omitted her father from her recent Grammy acceptance speech. Sources indicate that Billy Ray has tried to reach out to Miley, but their relationship has suffered since his split from Tish.
