La Liga Investigating Alleged Racism Towards Vinicius Jr.

La Liga is reportedly investigating an incident where a child allegedly made a racist comment towards Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr during their match against Valencia on Saturday, March 2. The Brazilian player, who had scored twice during the game, was subjected to the alleged racist comment, with a video circulating online showing the child allegedly calling Vinicius a monkey.

The incident is being looked into by La Liga, and it's reported that police were called during the game. This incident comes after Vinicius was previously racially abused at the Mestalla Stadium last season, leading to Valencia being fined and part of their stadium being closed for five matches.

Following the previous incident, Vinicius criticized La Liga, stating that racism is normal in the competition and that it has become known as a championship of racists. He expressed disappointment in how the league and opponents handle such situations, stating that Spain is now seen as a country of racists in Brazil due to these incidents.
