Meek Mill Expresses Desire for Ghanaian Citizenship, Citing America's Treatment of Black Men

American rapper Meek Mill has expressed his desire to obtain Ghanaian citizenship, citing what he perceives as America's oppressive treatment of Black Americans.

"I wanna get citizenship in Ghana!!!! America made to tear black men down if you don’t follow orders!" he tweeted on March 4, 2024.

Meek further stated, "Africa don’t got this shit I’m getting dual citizenship if they let me!"

This announcement follows Meek's recent denial of being gay after facing trolling over his alleged involvement in a lawsuit filed against music executive Diddy by his former producer, Rodney Jones, over alleged sexual assault.

In the lawsuit, although Meek wasn't named, he was alluded to as "a Philadelphia Rapper who dated Nicki Minaj." Rodney alleged that Diddy told him he'd slept with big-time male celebrities in the music business, including Meek.

After facing online backlash, Meek took to Twitter to deny the allegations, stating that he is not gay and was not romantically involved with Diddy.
