Lakers Snap Losing Streak Against 76ers, LeBron and AD Lead the Charge

The Los Angeles Lakers snapped their seven-game losing streak against the Philadelphia 76ers with a hard-fought 101-94 victory on Friday night.

Anthony Davis and LeBron James Take Over in the Fourth

Anthony Davis had a double-double with 23 points and 19 rebounds.

LeBron James added 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists, scoring 11 points in the crucial fourth quarter.

D'Angelo Russell Sets Lakers' 3-Pointer Record

D'Angelo Russell hit 184 three-pointers this season, surpassing Nick Van Exel's record set in 1994-95.

Russell finished with 14 points and 4 three-pointers.

Defense Wins the Game for Lakers

Despite a low-scoring performance offensively, the Lakers' defense stepped up in the second half, limiting the 76ers to only 18 points in the fourth quarter.

Philadelphia Battles But Falls Short

Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 27 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Lakers' late surge.

Tobias Harris had a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds in his return from injury.

The 76ers are now 0-2 on their West Coast road trip.

LeBron James Comments on the Win

"Ugly, but we got the job done... We defended (well) in the second half... We turned the ball over way too much... but when we got in the half-court, we buckled down and made them take tough shots."

D'Angelo Russell on Breaking the Record

"It just feels good to be part of one of these type of deals... This franchise is one of the most prestigious, so to have my name be a part of it, more than grateful."

Looking Ahead

The Lakers will look to continue their winning streak as they face their upcoming opponents.
