Actress Rita Edochie has spoken out to defend veteran actor Pete Edochie, amidst claims that he supports Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin's marriage because he featured in one of Judy's movies.
In a post on her Instagram page, Rita clarified that Pete Edochie is not desperate for film roles or obsessed with money, but rather a professional who was paid to appear in a movie. She emphasized that he was not aware of the negative controversy surrounding the person he filmed for, and upon realizing the situation, he decided not to proceed with the second movie he was paid for.
Rita urged people to focus on those who brought their personal life affairs to social media and leave Pete Edochie and his wife, Mrs. Josephine Edochie, alone. She defended Pete Edochie's actions, pointing out that he is 77 years old and should not be dragged into the drama surrounding Yul Edochie's marriage.
