FPL: Isak Shines for New Owners

In Gameweek 31 of Fantasy Premier League, Alexander Isak (£7.7m) emerged as the most-bought player, rewarding his 655,000 new owners with his fifth goal in four matches. The Sweden international scored the opening goal in Newcastle United's 1-1 draw with Everton, earning eight points.

Mohamed Salah (£13.3m) was the second most-bought player, followed by Darwin Nunez (£7.6m). Salah, known for his impressive home form, will face bottom side Sheffield United next. Nunez will aim to bounce back after a blank in Gameweek 30, having produced a goal or assist in each of his previous seven starts.

Cole Palmer (£5.9m) and Rodrigo Muniz (£4.7m) completed the top five transfer targets. Palmer, with eight double-figure hauls since his first start for Chelsea in Gameweek 7, is considered the best-value player in Fantasy. Muniz, despite failing to return points in Fulham's defeat at Nottingham Forest, had the most shots in the box in Gameweek 31.

In the captaincy realm, Erling Haaland (£14.3m) led the way for Manchester City's match against Aston Villa, followed by Salah and Son Heung-min (£10.1m). Bukayo Saka (£9.0m) was trusted with the armband by over 670,000 managers for Arsenal's match against Luton Town.

In the top 100 managers, Salah was overwhelmingly the most-captained player, with Nunez coming in second. Haaland, Son, Saka, and Luis Diaz (£7.5m) each received one vote.

Overall, Gameweek 31 provided Fantasy managers with exciting moments and important player performances, setting the stage for further intriguing developments in the coming weeks.
