Ghanaian footballer Agyemang Diawusie dies at 25.







Agyemang Diawusie, the German-born Ghanaian footballer,

has passed away at the age of 25, as announced by his current club, third-division German outfit Jahn Regensburg, on Tuesday night, November 28.


In their statement, Jahn Regensburg expressed deep shock and sorrow over the tragic news of Diawusie's passing. The club extended condolences to the bereaved and emphasized their thoughts being with Agyemang's family, relatives, close friends, and companions.

The cause of Diawusie's death has not been disclosed at this point. He had returned to Regensburg in July, having initially come through the club's academy as a youngster. Diawusie made 16 appearances across all competitions for the team this season.

Diawusie had earned international caps for Germany Under-15s and Under-19s. His career included stints in his homeland, making 48 appearances for RB Leipzig Under-19s and 55 appearances for German third-tier side Wehen Wiesbaden. He also played in Germany's second division for Dynamo Dresden and had a brief spell in Austria at SV Ried.
