Sean "Diddy" Combs Faces Explosive Lawsuit: Accused of Rape and Abuse by Ex-Girlfriend Cassie

In a shocking turn of events, hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is grappling with a civil lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie (Casandra Ventura), alleging rape and sex trafficking over a decade. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, doesn't just target Combs but also lists Bad Boy Records, Bad Boy Entertainment, Epic Records, and Combs Enterprises as defendants.

Cassie, an R&B singer who began her professional and romantic relationship with Combs at the age of 19, bravely unveiled her traumatic experiences in a statement, emphasizing her readiness to speak up for herself and other women facing violence and abuse. The lawsuit includes detailed accounts of alleged rape, physical abuse, and a cycle of control by Combs, who is vehemently denying these accusations.

Combs, an influential figure in the music industry, founded Bad Boy Records in the early '90s and expanded his empire with ventures like the Sean John clothing label and the Ciroc vodka brand. His net worth, estimated at $1 billion by Forbes, faces a potential tarnish with these serious allegations.

Cassie's lawsuit contends that Combs lured her into a professional relationship, eventually leading to a sexual one. The filing claims he introduced her to a lifestyle of excessive substance abuse and forced her into illicit prescriptions. The suit further alleges violent acts, including rape, and forced participation in sexual acts with male sex workers.

Combs, through his lawyer, vehemently denies the allegations, describing them as "blatant blackmail" after rejecting Cassie's purported $30 million demand. Cassie's lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, countered by asserting that Combs had offered her eight figures to maintain silence.
