Actress Francia Raisa has shared that the estrangement between her and Selena Gomez had no concrete reason, but the time apart was beneficial for their now-repaired relationship.
In an interview with USA Today, Raisa, known for her role in "How I Met Your Father," explained that there was no specific incident that caused their rift, saying, "Nothing happened, and if you ask either of us, we don't know what happened, but we needed that time apart."
Raisa emphasized that the separation allowed them to come back together as "better people," and they are still in the process of rekindling their friendship. Despite the ups and downs, Raisa finds it "crazy" how invested people are in their friendship, which began when they met as teenagers in 2007.
Raisa famously donated a kidney to Gomez in 2017. Speculation about their falling out arose when Gomez did not mention Raisa as a "friend in the industry" in an interview.
However, Raisa revealed that Gomez reached out to her after posting a birthday tribute earlier this year, stating that they "never really had beef with each other," and the relationship has always been there with occasional tiffs.
