Naira Marley Releases New Tracks Amid Controversies Over Mohbad's Death

Nigerian musician Naira Marley, also known as Afeez Fashola, has released two new tracks titled "Wahala" and "OMO" amid ongoing controversies related to the death of his former signee, Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Aloba).

The release marks Naira Marley's first official public engagement since Mohbad's death on September 12, 2023. Allegations of assault by Naira Marley and his crew have surrounded Mohbad's death, leading to public outrage.

Naira Marley, however, denies any involvement in Mohbad's demise. Naira Marley, along with Balogun Eletu (Sam Larry), was detained and later granted bail on November 29, 2023, with a bail amount of N20 million and three sureties.

Additionally, Naira Marley demanded N500 million and a public apology from actress Iyabo Ojo, accusing her of spreading false and defamatory information about him. In a letter sent through his lawyer, Naira Marley threatened to sue Iyabo Ojo if his demands were not met.
