About seven weeks after giving birth to her fourth child, Kourtney Kardashian has revealed the first photos of her newborn son, Rocky Thirteen.
Kardashian, who welcomed her baby with husband Travis Barker in early November, chose to share the initial glimpses of her newborn on December 22. Despite regularly updating her followers with baby bump progress and maternity photoshoots, Kardashian opted to wait before unveiling images of her son.
On Instagram, Kardashian and Barker shared a slideshow featuring adorable photos of their family, all dressed in cozy black loungewear. The photos, captioned with Rocky's name and a black heart, maintain an air of mystery around the baby's face.
While Barker expresses affection for baby Rocky in most of the slideshow, one image captures Kardashian breastfeeding her son in a heartwarming moment. A source shared with People on November 5 that Kardashian had a challenging end to her pregnancy, but she is now relieved and happy to snuggle with her baby boy.
Baby Rocky joins a family with not only loving parents but also famous aunts. Kourtney Kardashian has three other children with ex Scott Disick: Penelope, Mason, and Reign. Meanwhile, Barker has two children, Landon and Alabama, from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler and is the stepfather to Atiana De La Hoya.
Although Alabama, at 17, may become a doting older sister, she initially had a less than enthusiastic reaction to her little brother's name. Barker, in a joint Complex interview in July, suggested the name Rocky Thirteen, paying homage to the Rocky films and the guitarist for Suicidal Tendencies. Despite her initial laughter and disapproval, hopefully, Alabama has come around to welcoming her new brother into the family.
