West Ham Surges into Top Six with Convincing 2-0 Win Over Manchester United

West Ham secured a 2-0 victory over Manchester United at the London Stadium, propelling them into the top six. Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus found the net for the home side. Despite a quiet first half, West Ham took the lead when Bowen scored his 11th league goal after connecting with Lucas Paqueta's well-placed pass. Six minutes later, Kudus doubled their advantage, skillfully sidestepping his marker before slotting a low shot into the far corner.

This result sees David Moyes' team surpass Manchester United, moving into sixth place and trailing the top four by just four points. Manchester United, now in eighth position, suffered their eighth league defeat of the season and are six points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, having played one more game.

In their next fixtures, Erik ten Hag's side will host Aston Villa on Boxing Day, while West Ham is set to visit Arsenal on Thursday, December 28.
