Bayern Munich Secures 1-0 Victory Against Union Berlin, Narrows Gap with Bayer Leverkusen

Bayern Munich closed the gap on Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen to four points with a crucial 1-0 home win against Union Berlin. After a goalless first half, Dayot Upamecano was replaced at halftime due to a hamstring injury, marking Eric Dier's Bayern debut. Raphael Guerreiro scored the decisive goal within a minute of the restart.

Although Harry Kane thought he had doubled the lead, his effort was ruled offside. A scuffle between Leroy Sane and Union Berlin manager Nenad Bjelica resulted in the latter being sent off. Union Berlin pushed for an equalizer, but Bayern held on for the vital three points. The win keeps Bayern in contention as they prepare for a crucial match against league leaders Leverkusen next month.
