Last-Minute Penalty Rescues Draw for PSG Against Rennes

Goncalo Ramos' penalty in the seventh minute of injury time secured a crucial point for Paris Saint-Germain at home against Rennes in their Ligue 1 encounter. The match, which had been largely uneventful, saw an impressive individual goal from Amine Gouiri for Rennes just before half-time.

Ramos, who came on as a substitute for Kylian Mbappe, was involved in two penalty incidents late in the game. In the 84th minute, he was initially awarded a penalty after appearing to be fouled, but the decision was overturned, and he was booked instead. However, in the dying moments of the match, Ramos won another penalty after a challenge from Rennes' goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, which was confirmed by VAR.

Ramos calmly converted the penalty, sending Mandanda the wrong way, to salvage a draw for PSG with virtually the last kick of the game.
