Marvel Studios has announced the cast for its upcoming "Fantastic Four" film, with Pedro Pascal set to play Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (The Thing). The movie, directed by Matt Shakman and penned by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer, is slated for release on May 2, 2025.
This announcement marks the first time the Fantastic Four will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), as the movie rights were previously held by 20th Century Fox. Previous iterations of the team featured actors like Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis, and Chris Evans.
