Juventus Salvage Draw Against Cagliari Despite Poor Performance

Juventus endured another disappointing away game as they struggled to a 2-2 draw against Cagliari after being 2-0 down in Serie A. The hosts dominated the game from the start and took the lead with Gianluca Gaetano converting a penalty after a handball by Bremer. Yerry Mina doubled Cagliari's lead with another penalty, awarded for a foul by Wojciech Szczesny on Zito Luvumbo.

Juventus found a lifeline when Dusan Vlahovic scored from a free-kick, although there was controversy as Antoine Makoumbou appeared to duck his head. The Old Lady equalized when Kenan Yildiz's cross was inadvertently turned into his own net by Alberto Dossena.

Cagliari's performance was commendable as they continued their impressive form, losing just one of their last nine games. This result moves them five points clear of the relegation zone, sitting comfortably in 14th place. With just five matches remaining, Cagliari looks set to secure their Serie A status for next season, a remarkable achievement considering they were promoted last summer.
