Priest Jailed for Refusing Ambulance Entry During 'Gay Orgy' Overdose Incident

A Catholic priest, Father Tomasz Zmarzły, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for sex and drug crimes, including failing to provide assistance to a person in danger, after he refused to open the door to an ambulance during an overdose incident at a 'gay orgy' he had organized.

The incident occurred at the priest's apartment in Dąbrowa Górnicza, where a small gathering involving male prostitutes and potency pills took place. When one attendee overdosed, a prostitute called emergency services, prompting Father Zmarzły to order the caller to leave and then refuse entry to paramedics.

The ambulance service contacted the police, who eventually gained access to the apartment and found the unconscious man. He was taken to the hospital, where he recovered and discharged himself.

Father Zmarzły initially denied organizing a 'gay orgy' but was sentenced for sexual offenses, drug supply, and failing to provide assistance. The trial was held behind closed doors, and there will be no appeal.
