Breaking! ASUU meeting with FG ended in deadlock yet again.

 

  

The federal government and the leadership of ASUU meet yesterday(Tuesday) but

unfortunately, no agreement was reached.

Therefore,the strike which the union embarked on since February of this year is set to continue because of this. This meeting started around 12pm and lasted for about 3hours.

A senior member of ASUU told channel TV that members of the briggs negotiation didn't come with a new offer on the table.

He said,the committee pleaded with lecturers to suspend the ongoing strike,with promises that their concerns will be included in the 2023 budget.
