Ismaila Mustapha, popularly known as mompha, who is a socialite and Instagram celebrity was declared wanted by the ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL CRIME COMMISSION(EFCC) via their Twitter page on Wednesday,3rd of August 2022.
It was said that Nigerians who by any chance know of his whereabouts to contact the police station nearest to them to report.
January 12th, mompha and his company (ismalob global investment Ltd.) Were arraigned by the commission over alleged 6 billion naira fraud.
Fresh 8-count charges were put up against him, He got remanded in the commission's custody but later granted a bail of 200million naira which he couldn't provide so it was slashed to 20 million Naira.
On the 10th of June, he was accused of neglecting the court order by traveling to DUBAI with a new passport. Due to his absence from trial, his bail was revoked by a Lagos Court on the 22nd of June.
