BREAKING!!! MTN Responds to debt repayment glitch

 

MTN subscribers who availed themselves of airtime or data loans from MTN may find

themselves obligated to repay the debts initially thought to be canceled due to a system error on MTN's part, as reported by LEADERSHIP.

Despite the glitch, subscribers who perceived the debt cancellation as a deliberate act by the telecom operator took to social media to express their joy and gratitude towards MTN.

An official from MTN responded, clarifying that subscribers would still be accountable for settling the seemingly cleared bills even after MTN addresses the problem that caused the debts to vanish from their accounts. 

The official explained that the disappearance of debts in the subscribers' accounts resulted from a system glitch, emphasizing that once MTN rectifies the error, subscribers will be required to pay the previously assumed cleared debts.
