Laughing Through Adversity: Tiffany Haddish's speaks on her recent arrest

Tiffany Haddish, the American comedian and actress, has now spoken out about her recent DUI arrest.

The incident occurred on Friday morning, November 24, when Haddish was taken into custody after being found asleep behind the wheel of her car on Beverly Drive, which was still running.

Addressing the arrest during a stand-up performance at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, the 43-year-old comedian responded humorously to an audience member's inquiry about the events of the previous night. After a playful exchange, Haddish jokingly attributed her prayers for a man "in uniform" being answered to the situation.

This marks Haddish's second DUI arrest, with the first incident taking place in Georgia in January 2022. During that episode, she was found dozing in the driver's seat of her car in Peachtree City while shooting the film Haunted Mansion. Police suspected marijuana use, and she was arrested for DUI and for stopping on a roadway in an unsafe manner after officers were alerted by a concerned citizen. It appears that in both cases, Haddish had not properly pulled off the road before taking a nap.
