Chelsea Cruise to Victory Over Boro, Nearing First Trophy Under Pochettino




 Chelsea are on the brink of winning their first trophy under Mauricio Pochettino following a commanding 6-1 victory over Middlesbrough (6-2 on aggregate) at Stamford Bridge. 

The Blues will advance to the final at Wembley Stadium on Feb. 25, awaiting the winner between Liverpool and Fulham in the other semifinal. 

After trailing 1-0 in the first leg, Chelsea showcased dominance against the EFL Championship side in the return leg. Early pressure resulted in a 2-0 lead by the half-hour mark, featuring an own goal by Jonny Howson and a goal by Enzo Fernandez. 

Axel Disasi and Cole Palmer added to the tally, securing a 4-0 advantage by halftime. Palmer notched his second in the 77th minute, and Noni Madueke sealed the 6-1 victory in the 81st minute."
